Twenty Five Years ago our founding fathers of the Golden Valley Chamber had a definite vision in mind. It was their desire, and continues to be our desire, to promote the welfare of the Golden Valley area as an “attractive and pleasant place to live”. The desire to ensure the prosperity of the area considered Golden Valley is bound by highway 93 to the east, Union Pass to the west, Hermit to the north and Oatman Rd. to the south, is still a vision that we hold today. The population in 1983 was 2,000 and has grown to an estimated 20,000, showing the prosperity that was and is our vision.
